Shipping Coverage

We ship to eligible addresses across Canada, where permitted by law.

If local or provincial rules restrict direct-to-consumer alcohol delivery in your area, your order may be redirected to the nearest eligible licensed liquor retailer or pickup location. We will notify you if this applies to your order.

Age Verification & Signature Requirement

All purchasers must be of legal drinking age in their province or territory.

  • Valid government-issued photo ID is required at delivery or pickup.

  • An adult signature from a legal-age recipient is required.

  • Orders cannot be delivered to underage individuals or left unattended where age verification is required.

If delivery is unsuccessful due to age verification issues or signature refusal, the order may be returned and additional charges may apply.

Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically confirmed within 3 business days of purchase.

  • Once confirmed, orders usually ship within 8 business days.

  • Processing and transit times may be longer during holidays or peak periods.

Shipping Methods & Restrictions

Alcoholic beverages are shipped using compliant carrier methods and services permitted by law.

For safety and carrier compliance:

  • We do not ship products above legally permitted alcohol-strength limits where restricted by carrier or regulation.

  • Certain high-ABV products may face additional transport restrictions or be unavailable for shipment to some locations.

Weather & Temperature Disclaimer

Shipping during extreme heat or freezing conditions may affect product quality.

  • You may request a shipment delay until conditions improve.

  • Royal Oak Liquor Store is not responsible for quality changes caused by temperature fluctuations during transit.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping details.

  • Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete address information may incur return-shipping fees.

  • Cancellations resulting from address errors may be subject to a 10% processing fee.

Product Availability & Order Changes

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you and offer:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to wait for restock (up to 5 business days, where applicable)

Packaging & Damaged Shipments

All orders are packed with protective materials suitable for beverage transport.

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Contact us promptly, and

  2. Share clear photos of the item, outer packaging, and shipping label.

Refunds or replacements may be offered after review and, where required, return of damaged goods. Minor seepage/leakage may not qualify; significant damage is assessed case by case.

Cancellations & Final Sale Policy

All alcohol sales are final, except where required by applicable law.

  • Orders canceled before shipment may be eligible for a refund minus a 10% cancellation fee.

  • Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled.
